DevOps and Observability - What's New?

For our last DubJUG event of 2025, we welcome Michael Hüttermann, a Java Champion and renowned author of books such as "DevOps for Developers” and “Agile ALM". Michael is flying in from Cologne, Germany, to be you on the evening of Friday 12th December.

This interactive session explores a fresh lens on DevOps, blending both an industrial and an academic perspective, and integrating DevOps with an array of concepts including digitalization and SRE. You'll leave knowing what DevOps nowadays really is and how to continuously deliver valuable outcome to users.

Michael will also shed light on DevOps in large scale and zoom in to Observability as one way to scale-up. Stemming from different languages, standards, tools and platforms, we unbox good practices and pitfalls while moving to a data-informed approach in large setups.
