Duluth Novelists Monthly Meetup

At our last meetup, we welcomed a new member, which is always a treat. After that, we discussed where we were with our individual projects and some details about the worlds and stories we're working on. We also talked about word count and how difficult it can be to cut things out of the story because the manuscript is too long, or adding in subplots just because you need some filler.

For our next meetup, we'll spend the first hour in open discussion and brainstorming, where we compare notes and generally encourage each other in writing.
The second hour will be dedicated to focused writing time.
