We are bringing together Durham Region residents who share a love of food and want to build meaningful friendships. 🍽️
Our meetups promise delicious meals and genuine conversation, with a rotation of local restaurants and cafés to keep things fun and fresh. Most often we gather for dinners, which are a great way to slow down, share a table, and connect.
We also host weekly Get Out! Coffee & Conversation events, a perfect midweek break for those working from home or anyone who just wants to recharge with casual chats and friendly faces.
A few quick notes before you join:

Please make sure your profile includes your first name and a photo of yourself so we can recognize and welcome you at events.

If you reserve a spot, we kindly ask that you honour your RSVP. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in removal from the group. Respecting commitments helps us keep things fair to restaurants and fellow members.

There are no reservations on weekends, so there may be a short wait when we arrive.

This is our third (and final) stop in the Find Your Favorite This Fall: Indian Restaurant Edition!
We’ll be dining family-style, which means each person orders one or two dishes to share around the table. That way, everyone gets to sample a variety of flavours and discover their own favourite Indian dishes.
Come hungry, bring your curiosity, and get ready to explore together!
There is no event fee for this meal. We just ask that you reserve a spot only if you plan to attend, and please update us if your plans change.

Live & Local: Market at 70 King + Classic Movie Night
Market at 70 King, 70 King Street East,, Oshawa , ON, CAJoin us and indulge in delicious food and enjoy a screening of the classic film My Cousin Vinny? 📽️
Whether you come for the laughs, the nostalgia, or just great food with good company, it's sure to be a memorable evening.
We'll be gathering at the Market at 70 King and then heading to Regent Theatre in Oshawa for the movie which starts at 7 pm. You have the option of joining us for one or both of these activities.
Important Details:
- You're welcome to join us at 6 pm at the Market, which is a multi-vendor food market.
- We'll be walking from the Market to Regent Theatre around 6:40 pm. Those who want to stay at the Market (and are not attending the movie) are welcome to hang out longer.
- For those coming to the movie, you'll need to purchase a ticket here. Admission is $7.50 Online (in advance) OR $5.00 Cash Only at Door (one hour before start time). I’d personally recommend grabbing a ticket online. We’re not sure how many people will be attending, and this way you’ll be sure to get a seat!
When reserving your spot on Meetup, please indicate whether you're attending the market, the movie, or both.
