Are you new to The Netherlands and would you like to connect with others? Do you like to hike and are you ready to explore nature and landscape around The Hague ánd in other parts of The Netherlands? Join the Dutch Nature Hikes!
The hikes take place on Fridays and Saturdays, so just choose what fits you best. Once you sign up for a hike, you will receive all the information you need to join. All locations can be reached by public transport.
The hikes are between 12-20 km long and are nature-oriented. As your guide, I will try to show you parts of The Netherlands that are interesting and beautiful!
This is a perfect opportunity to connect with both people, landscape and nature. I hope to see you on one of our hikes!

New Year's Hike De Vuursche 2 - Hollandsche Rading to Baarn (13 km)
Station Hollandsche Rading, Vuurse Dreef 14 - 20, 3739 KT Hollandsche Rading, Hollandsche Rading, NLPlease note: there are two hikes organised on this day. This one starts at train station Hollandsche Rading and ends in Baarn.
This hike in the forests of De Vuursche en Baarn offers a lot of variation in landscape over mostly unpaved paths. We will take a break at restaurant De Bosrand – to warm up and to have lunch. The hike starts at train station Hollandsche Rading and ends at train station Baarn. Both train stations can be reached from Utrecht Centraal.
Meeting time and place: we will meet at 10.00am at train station Baarn.

New Year's Hike De Vuursche 1 - Baarn to Hollandsche Rading (13 km)

Start the year well with a winter hike in the forests of Baarn and Lage Vuursche. This hike in the province of Utrecht offers a lot of variation in landscape over mostly unpaved paths. We will take a break at restaurant De Bosrand – to warm up and to have lunch. The hike starts at train station Baarn and ends at train station Hollandsche Rading. Both train stations can be reached from Utrecht Centraal.

Nature Hike Vlietlanden (16 km)
Maassluis Centrum, Maassluis, ZH, NLThis hike from Maassluis to Vlaardingen, just west of Rotterdam, will surprise you. The trail passes through De Vlietlanden, a beautifully conserved area with lots of water. We will also visit the Broekpolder forest and the Krabbeplas – looking for the first signs of spring along the way.
Meeting time and place: we will meet at 10am subway station Maassluis Centrum. The hike ends at subway station Vlaardingen West.
