13.5 mile Walk - Two Crosses Without The Crosses

Start Batridge Barn, Entwistle Reservoir car park, the lower of the two but they are connected. Batridge Rd, off Green Arms Rd. Beware of advertised postcode, best use BL7 0NF. If that doesn't work in a satnav put in Bolton and Batridge Road.
The Two Crosses event route, covering the section that only the 26 mile entrants complete around Turton Moor and Entwistle Reservoir. We will extend this and do an additional section through Tockholes Woods to the Ramblers Country Cafe where, if it is open, we can get hot drinks and food.
Please give thought to the clothing and footwear necessary for adverse weather or ground conditions, and carry enough water and food for the day.
