What we’re about
We’re starting a new laid back over 50 +/- social group in East Volusia / Coastal Volusia! It’s a meetup for people interested in getting out and enjoying life and making new friends. Singles, couples, or whatever are all welcome to attend. Our purpose is to make new friends, get out and have adventures and do fun things together in the area. Going to dinner, happy hour, dancing, movies, coffee, live music, wine tastings, day trips, bicycling, billiards or games, and whatever else the members feel like doing!
We will open it up so that regular members can suggest activities and host events and meetups, and we welcome people joining the organizing team. Please contact one of the hosts if you’re interested in hosting and feel free to post on the message board any ideas or suggestions you have for additional events.
This is a new group and when enough members join, we will start scheduling regular events and meetups. Feel free to join and recommend it to your friends. The more the merrier! Welcome ! If you’re running late for an event, that’s ok, and if you need to leave early, no worries ! If you can’t rsvp but you’d still like to attend , no problem, just message an organizer so we can expect you and plan seating accordingly. This is a low-key group :)
