Sri Lankan feast in Richmond Hill
Details
In nearly seven years, we've never done Sri Lankan food together. So let's try this exotic cuisine in a neighborhood we've also never tried, near the end of the J train, at a place recommended by Dave Cook. Some items will be spicy, but I will mostly aim to order relatively mild so all can eat, with hot stuff available to spice up as needed. Guessing a max around $40/pp w/tax, tip, and fee.
Some likely items from their incredible long menu:
Crunch rolls
Carrot salad
Cucumber salad
Eggplant moju
Deviled pork
Deviled vegetables
Fried rice w/vegetables
Kothu w/chicken
Lamprais (wrapped pockets) w/black pork curry
Lamprais w/mutton
Ambul Thiyal - tuna in clay pot w/curry powder & sour spices
Beef curry w/string hoppers
