Join me along with a group of adventurous crafters for a train and tram journey to Jimmy Buttons Haberdashery in Fitzroy.
Enjoy conversation about our crafts as we travel. If you are new in town this is an opportunity for a cross-city adventure and to make new friends.
Jimmy Buttons is a treasure trove for us to explore.
Whatever your crafting interest is, this is the opportunity for finding inspiration for your next project.
Before we head home we will have time to relax, chat, share our purchases and enjoy tea, coffee and a snack at Pony White Cafe.
Agenda
I will meet you outside (Platform 1) Footscray Station at 9.15am and we’ll catch the 9.39am city loop train to Parliament Station. You will need a MYKI card to travel.
From Parliament Station we’ll walk to corner of Albert St and Nicholson St to catch the no.86 Bundoora tram to travel to Johnson St. We'll then walk for 5 minutes to Jimmy Buttons.
We'll have an hour to explore and enjoy the store.
After that we’ll walk around the corner to PonyTail Café for tea,coffee, snacks and a chat.
On the return we’ll catch no 11 tram to Southern Cross Station and from there catch the Williamstown/Werribee train to Footscray.
Jimmy Buttons requests cash for purchases under $20.
