We will curate a diverse array of events, from BYOB dinners and happy hours to cultural events, hikes, brunches, and more. Happy Hour Meet & Greet: Estia
Estia Restaurant, 1405 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA, USGet ready to unwind and connect at our upcoming Happy Hour Meet & Greet at Estia Restaurant! This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to gather in a stunning, transportive setting that feels like a quick trip to the Greek Islands. Whether you’re a longtime member or joining us for the first time, the warm Mediterranean atmosphere is the perfect backdrop for making new connections.
What's the Plan? We're heading to Estia for a sophisticated yet relaxed happy hour. Known for its incredible Mediterranean ambiance—complete with white-washed walls and rustic wood accents—it’s one of the most beautiful spots in the city. We’ll enjoy their refined bar menu and sip on Greek-inspired cocktails or a glass of wine. This is a low-key, come-as-you-are event focused on great conversation and the vibrant energy of our group. Their happy hour specials are from 3:30 - 5:30, and our event is from 4:00 - 7:00. Come when you can.
The Deets:
- Atmosphere: Expect an elegant, upscale Mediterranean vibe with a welcoming lounge.
- Food & Drinks: A variety of authentic Greek appetizers and small plates are available, as well as a selection of specialty cocktails and wines from their happy hour menu.
- Purpose: A relaxed meet and greet designed for building genuine friendships and expanding your social circle.
- Parking: There are several parking garages nearby on Locust and 15th Streets, and the restaurant is easily accessible by the Broad Street Line (City Hall or Walnut-Locust stations).

Our next stop on the World Food Tour takes us to Ristorante Pesto, a true neighborhood gem that has been serving up award-winning Italian cuisine for years. Known for their "Old World" recipes and incredible hospitality, this family-owned spot is the perfect place for our community to gather. Prepare your taste buds for some of the best handmade pasta and veal in the city!

With numerous "Best of Philly" awards under their belt, their menu is a love letter to Italian tradition. - BYOB: Feel free to bring your favorite bottle of Chianti, a crisp Pinot Grigio, or your preferred beer to pair with your pasta!
- Cost: We will plan to order some shared appetizers for the table to sample a variety of tastes, and then everyone can order their own entree. Please anticipate the total cost to be approximately $45-$60 per person (including tax and a 20% tip), as their high-quality ingredients reflect a slightly higher price point. Please bring cash.
- Allergies: If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions (they offer gluten-free pasta options!), please let me know as soon as you RSVP so I can inform the restaurant in advance.
- Important: I will send a confirmation message a day or two before our visit to finalize the headcount. If your plans change, please update your RSVP to "Not Going" promptly. This allows those on the waitlist to join us and helps me adjust our reservation accordingly.
- Parking: Ristorante Pesto is located at 1910 S. Broad Street. Street parking is available along Broad Street and the surrounding side streets, but it can be competitive in South Philly. Carpooling or using a ride-share service is highly recommended!
