April is "National Volunteer Month" and our book club wanted to find a way to volunteer within the community that corresponded to the April Book Pick which is "Grandma Gatewood's Walk: The Inspiring Story Of The Woman Who Saved The Appalachian Trail" by Ben Montgomery.

We will be distributing disposable gloves and a trashbag to each attendee and the plan is to hike and pick up any trash found along our hike to then dispose of at the end of our hike.

More details to come but the current plan is to:
1. Park and meet at the upper trailhead parking lot
2. Hike a portion of the Stone Mountain Loop Trail to the summit and then...
3. Back track to the Upper Trailhead parking lot unless the closure on the falls portion of the loop opens back up.
4. Icecream and Food at the Stone Mountain Country Store
