Andy Weir: Project Hail Mary

Project Hail Mary is the third novel by Andy Weir, of The Martian fame - and it's currently rated higher on Goodreads than that! It's been described as a popcorn book, so it's no surprise that it's already been turned into a movie, about to be released this March.

According to Wikipedia, "(i)t centers on school teacher and former biologist Ryland Grace, who wakes up aboard a spacecraft afflicted with amnesia."
