## Mission Brief: Operation Castle and Woods
Your objective: infiltrate Guildford’s green frontier — an approx. 15 km route combining riverside paths, ancient woodland, open hills, and the historic heart of the town. This is no ordinary walk. It’s a tactical journey through shifting terrain — water, forest, ridge, and ruin — designed for those who prefer their weekends with a touch of intrigue.
## Intel: Key Waypoints
- River Wey Navigation — silent currents and shaded towpaths; the calm before the climb.
- Chantry Woods — ancient ground, deep cover, and the first test of endurance.
- Surrey Ridgelines — open country, sweeping views, and the high vantage point.
- Guildford Castle & Gardens — centuries of history behind stone walls.
