Let's get 2026 off to good start. Let's walk in nature not to escape life, but to see it more clearly. Nature shows you reality without pretense—the cycles of growth and decay, the interdependence of all things, the indifference of the universe to your personal concerns.
Marcus Aurelius walked in the gardens and reflected: "Observe constantly that all things take place by change, and accustom yourself to consider that the nature of the Universe loves nothing so much as to change the things which are and to make new things like them." When you walk among trees, you see this truth directly. The fallen leaves, the budding branches, the ever-changing sky—nothing stays the same, yet the forest endures. This is the lesson: impermanence is not tragedy, it's simply how things are.
