We meet once a month in the PorterShed in Galway. Usually with some short talks on interesting topics followed by plenty of time to network and socialize with your fellow tech enthusiasts.

Rebooting the Galway Maker Space
PorterShed, 15 Market Street, Galway, G, IEWe want a Community Maker Space in Galway, and we need your help to see if we can make it happen. Inspired by fond memories of 091 labs, helping out with the Repair Cafe, and our trip to the Open Hardware Summit 2026 in Berlin last month, we're looking to gauge interest from makers, crafters, and those who would like to learn new skills.
If you've got experiences running Maker Spaces, being a part of one, or you just want someplace cool to print your custom minis and meet cool people, come along to the Portershed a Dó on June 11th, 6:30-8pm.
