Join us Friday **24th October**, **5:30-7:30pm**, in **PorterShed a Do**, Market Street for a collaborative meetup between **Galway IT Meetup** and the **Product Management Galway Meetup**. This is a relaxed social forum for networking and discussion. To encourage open discussion, we have picked the topic of Open Source - a stalwart pillar of all modern infrastructure, both technical and managerial. And it is of course **[Hacktoberfest](https://hacktoberfest.com/)**, there is no better time to start getting involved in Open Source than now!

There will be a short introduction on Open Source, both in the context of Information Technology and Product Management.

Come along if you are curious and want to learn more or a long-term contributor.
