Leaving the Laird and Dog we follow the official path running on the nearside riverbank of the Esk, wandering off the path to visit the dilapidated Mavisbank House and over viewing the formal gardens.
It is the intention to walk around the usual 5 miles, with a finish to be decided either at Loanhead or Roslynn and both locations have buses available.
