What we’re about
This is a general activity group. We will dine out, hike, do casual walks, sing karaoke, do Happy Hours, attend concerts and street fairs, explore cultural activities, attend movies and plays, do occasional road trips and do anything else our members suggest. MANY ACTIVITIES WILL BE LIMITED TO THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED COVID-19 VACCINES.

Lets have a go at The Boat Yard Waterfront Bar And Grill at Tobay Beach. That 70's band is playing in the bar. We will meet on the beach (bay side) before things get started at the bar. Bring dinner, bring a drink, maybe something to share, a chair or blanket. Or, get eat and drink at the Surf Shack or The Boatyard. Eat, socialize, enjoy the sun set, go wading, build a sand castle.
Feel free to go into the bar (or not) when you want; there is a cover for the bar and band, probably $10 (free for Tobay residents).

Your GPS may lead you astray. From Wantagh Parkway, take Ocean Parkway east from Jones Beach about 5 miles from the water tower. Tobay is on the north side of the road so you will have to use the U turn. From the Great South Bay Bridge, take Ocean Parkway west about 9 miles.
