Beautiful 6 mile walk on Albemarle County Roads - Cville

Let's take a walk together on Christmas. This is one of my favorite walks in the Charlottesville area. Beautiful scenery, some good elevation and great views of Charlottesville and the mountains. We'll meet in the Calvary Chapel parking lot (corner of Sunset Avenue Extended and Old Lynchburg Road). We will walk a short distance down Old Lynchburg and then turn right onto Ambrose Commons Road, follow it until it ends and then walk back the way we came. If the wooded trails are not icy, we may twalk through the woods. The road runs through the Mosby Mountain and Mountain Valley Farm neighborhoods.

Dogs are allowed but MUST be leashed the entire hike. I am going to limit this to 16 people. Steve will walk with the faster hikers. We need to be mindful that this is a neighborhood with cars so we can't own the roads.
