Hike Details - This is a circuit hike from the Jones Run Parking Area at MP 84 in the SNP. The first 2.4 miles is steady loss of elevation down the Jones Run Trail to the Doyle's River Trail. There's then a stead elevation gain for 2.1 miles. We'll then take the Appalacian Trail for a relatively flat 3.4 miles back to the parking area.
Conditions - Early March can still bring on winter weather. Monitor the weather and properly dress for the weather conditions. Bring layers of clothing, beanies, gloves, and proper gear.
