What we’re about

Hello Boomers & Friends,

As New Year is approaching and if there’s one thing life has taught us—through all the ups, downs, sideways detours, surprise plot twists, and “you’ve got to be kidding me” moments—it’s this: our time is now. Not next month. Not “when things calm down.” Not “after I finally organize that closet.” We’ve spent decades juggling careers, raising families, caring for others, and navigating everything from broken appliances to broken hearts.

We’ve celebrated big wins, survived tough losses, and learned that waiting for the “perfect moment” is a myth. If we don’t start doing the things we’ve always wanted to do—exploring, learning, laughing, trying something new—then tomorrow has a funny way of turning into next year. And let’s be honest: we’ve earned the right to enjoy ourselves. We’ve put in the work. We’ve gained the wisdom.

We’ve reached the age where we know better than to assume we have unlimited time to finally take that class, visit that museum, try that hobby, or say yes to that outing. So in 2026, let’s get out there and live like we mean it.

Let’s explore new ideas, new places, and maybe even new muscles we forgot we had. Let’s stay active—not because we’re trying to turn back the clock, but because we’re determined to make the most of every hour it gives us. Let’s laugh loudly, walk proudly, and keep surprising ourselves (and occasionally our kids, who still can’t believe we’re doing half the things we do).

This is our moment to enjoy the world, each other, and the adventures still waiting for us. We’re not done—not even close. Here’s to a year of saying “yes,” moving forward, and making memories while we can. One great outing at a time.

Let’s Get Up and Go Boomers and Friends!!!
