Want to get in a final mountain bike ride for 2025 with some friends? Meet at the North Fruita Desert Trailhead (18 Rd main parking lot) at 2 pm December 31. Suggested route: Up Dog to Frontside to Western Zippity then back to parking, then Prime Cut to PB&J to parking. (You can opt in or out for either loop or add more loops if you want to ride more.) Pace will be moderate/social. Trailforks rates some of the trails on this route as "Blue" or Intermediate Difficulty.
Post-ride beverages in the parking lot. Ben Roehl may set up a campfire for the evening for those who want to continue the festivities.
This event is weather dependent. If the trails at 18 Rd are wet or muddy, the event might not take place or might be moved to Kokopelli which dries out faster.
