Go Hack Day

We're excited to announce our first Hack Day of 2016!

Perfect for Gophers of all levels; even if you haven't got Go installed - bring your laptop and we'll make it happen. If you've got an idea or existing project, this is a great opportunity to ask fellow Gophers any questions you might have and bounce ideas off our community.

Agenda:

• 11:00am: Welcome, Gophers Slack, Hello World by Ryan D

• 11:30am: Beginners Tutorial; Your First Go App by Leah Garrett

• 12:15pm: Building Slack bot 'Igor' in Go by Arjen Schwarz

• 1:00pm: Lunch and networking

• 2:30pm: Afternoon beverages

• 4:45pm: Closing remarks

You're welcome to spend the entire day hacking on your own code, or join in any of the above activities. Expect a relaxed and fun atmosphere, with a bunch of friendly Gophers!
