The Oceanway - Part 5! Palm Beach SLSC 4-5km walk and refreshments

Walking from Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club we’ll journey south to enjoy the Palm Beach Parklands and Currumbin Creek Reserves for 2- 2.5km before returning back to the parklands, heading onto the beach and returning to our start point for well earned refreshments.
This walk is around 4-5km (it will be slower / shorter if it’s hot and humid) on laneways, uneven paths, boardwalks and sand.
There is a return option on paths not sand if needed.
We’ll book a table and enjoy social chat and refreshments at the surf club afterwards :)
Bring: a $2 donation towards the meetup fees and organiser costs, hat, water bottle, sandals or shoes. This event is free for paid annual members.

Please be mindfulful to update your attendance to ‘not going’ as soon as possible if you can no longer join us. This is so we can update bookings and not hold up the group waiting for ‘no shows’.

This event (formerly’Walk & a Wine) has been running for over 15 years in one form or another. It’s a wonderful way to meet new people, get a feel for the Active and Social Meetup Group and enjoy our amazing coastline views along the Gold Coast Oceanway!
