## What to expect

The walk delivers an immersive visitor experience in one of the most stunning stretches of coastline in New South Wales. The natural landscapes, vegetation and wildlife combine with ancient rock formations and ocean vistas to create many memorable moments for walkers.

You can complete the walk over 3 easy days either as self-guided or via commercial tour operators or tackle shorter sections of track in any direction.

Starting just north of Batemans Bay at Pretty Beach, the walk has overnight stops at a choice of 5 beachside campgrounds within Murramarang National Park.

Inspired by local bushwalkers, the walk promotes the culture and heritage of the region with new cultural interpretations.

# Pretty beach to depot beach 10 kms

# Pretty Beach to Depot Beach walking track is an adventurous hike that traces the rocky coastline and beaches of northern Murramarang National Park.

Heading south from Pretty Beach, follow the coast across potentially slippery rock shelfs, which are at times underwater, and along remote pebble beaches. Make sure to check tides, swells and weather conditions before you set out as the journey requires extreme caution and is inaccessible from mid to high tide. It should not be attempted during poor weather or big ocean swells.
At Snake Bay, cool off with a swim in the clear ocean before tucking into a beachside picnic.
The walk from Snake Bay is through coastal forest with spectacular views of the ocean through the trees and with views back to Pretty Beach. The track remains on the headland with undulating hills and glimpses of the sea through spotted gum forest until you reach Pebbly Beach.
We move on following the rock platform and crossing another stoney beach, with its soothing rumble tumble of rounded pebbles, in parts graded according to size by the surge and retreat of the surf. We soon reach isolated and beautiful Depot Beach.
