Munay: Coming Home to Your Own Heart
Oasis: Community Wellbeing Hub, 33 W Walnut St. Ste. 200, Bethlehem, PA, USThere is a love that most of us have never fully received.
Not because it wasn’t offered — but because we were never taught to give it to ourselves first. We learned early to pour outward. To tend, to give, to show up for everyone else with our whole heart and quietly hope that someone would do the same for us in return.
In Kichwa, Munay (Moo-nah-ee) is the word for love. But it is not love as emotion. It is love as the organizing intelligence of the heart — a faculty, a way of knowing, a force that lives at the center of everything alive. The Siwar Q’enti, the royal hummingbird, is its messenger. She travels impossible distances and always finds her way back to sweetness, not because the world makes it easy, but because that is her nature. That is your nature too. You have just forgotten.
Ceremonial cacao opens the heart’s deeper intelligence. She makes the truth easier to feel than to avoid. And the truth tonight is this: you are allowed to be the recipient of your own love. Fully. Without earning it first.

Yacumama: Let the Still Waters Speak
Oasis: Community Wellbeing Hub, 33 W Walnut St. Ste. 200, Bethlehem, PA, USYou have been moving fast for a long time.
Not because you wanted to — because stopping felt dangerous. Because when things go quiet, what you've been carrying tends to surface. And you've been managing the distance between yourself and that surfacing for longer than you'd like to admit.
In the Amazon, Yacumama (Yah-coo-mama) is the Mother of Waters — the great spirit of the river who lives where the current runs deepest. She doesn't force what she finds. She moves through it. And where she passes, what has been still begins to move again. What has been buried beneath the surface begins to be known.
Water in this tradition is not passive. It is one of the most intelligent forces in the living world. It finds every crack. It holds memory. It carries what the body has not yet been able to speak out loud.
This ceremony is an invitation to travel into your own waters to hear and feel what you have been carrying. Not to fix it. Not to process it into something manageable. To let it be felt, finally, in the body — the way water was always meant to move.
Ceremonial cacao softens the grip. She makes the interior easier to enter. The rest belongs to you. What to bring:

Kanchary: The Eclipse That Wakes You
Oasis: Community Wellbeing Hub, 33 W Walnut St. Ste. 200, Bethlehem, PA, USSomething in you is ready to be seen.
Not the curated version. Not the one that's been carefully managed for the comfort of every room you've walked into. The actual you — the one that has been pressing up against the edges of your own life, waiting for the moment the conditions were right enough to fully emerge.
In Kichwa, Kanchary (Kahn-chah-ree) means to illuminate — to bring light into what has been in shadow. Not gently. Completely. The way dawn doesn't negotiate with darkness. It simply arrives, and everything that was hidden becomes visible.
Tonight we gather under one of the most cosmologically charged skies of this year. A solar eclipse is not a disruption in my lineage. It is a reset — a moment when the ordinary light withdraws so that what has been obscured can finally be seen, and what is ready to be born can emerge into an entirely new luminance. This is not a night for small intentions.
Ceremonial cacao opens the heart and sharpens the body's inner sight. The breathwork clears the field. And the journey takes you to the edge of your own emergence — to the version of yourself that is done waiting for permission to take up space.
The eclipse is not happening to you. It is happening within you. What to bring:
