West Virginia Hard Hiking, Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods Seneca Rocks Chimney Top
Blackwater Falls, WV, 1584 Blackwater Lodge Rd, Davis, WV, USDavis, WV Davis is currently best known for its world-class outdoor recreation opportunities and outstanding access to pristine and wild public lands: These include the Little Canaan Wildlife Management Area, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley state parks, the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge, and a large portion of the Monongahela National Forest. Davis lies in the heart of a celebrated system of rugged mountain biking and hiking trails.
Hiking locations we will visit include: Blackwater Falls- touristy short hikes. Monongahela National Forest- Chimney Tops, Hard and Rocky Seneca Rocks National Recreation- Area Seneca Rocks. Hard rocky hikes. Dolly Sods Wilderness- Lion's Head, Rocky Point Loop. Hard hike, possibly deep stream crossing and rocky terrain.

Lodging: We will stay in a large residential house that I have reserved in Davis, WV. 5 bedrooms with 8 beds total. 8 people in the house. 1 bedroom is a bunk bedroom with 4 full beds. (everyone has there own bed)
A charming and spacious home in the mountain town of Davis! 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths, large amazing kitchen, well appointed living spaces, with restaurants, shops, and galleries literally around the corner. Outdoor deck in rear of the house with a firepit.
Price is $145 per person. (after event fills, I will send a private message with Payment details. Payment non refundable.)Attendee limit set to 20 for the trip.
After the first 8 people, you will need to reserve your own lodging. I can help guide you on places that I found while I was researching.
Plenty of camping locations around this area. Both Blackwater falls and Seneca Rocks parks have sites if you are interested in that. Then just meet us at the trailhead each day for the hiking!
The following itinerary is for planning purpose and may change but not much.
Do as much or as little as you want. We will fill the days with exciting hiking trails and views. We will stay busy the entire time we are there. The pace is moderate and allows time for plenty of photos but we won't spend 30 minutes taking a photo of a mushroom. lol
