What we’re about

This group is for anyone who would like to develop a meditation practice or wants to meditate in a group setting. Personally, I find meditating in a group can have benefits that doing so alone may not have, particularly in the beginning of your meditation practice. It also creates an opportunity to connect with like-minded people who share a similar interest. Meetings will typically take place in Greenville and since the weather is turning nice, will usually be outdoors in nature. You should plan to bring bug spray and a meditation or yoga mat or comfy blanket.

I am by no means an expert at meditation, but I believe strongly in its ability to do amazing things for clarity of mind and brain health which ultimately translates to better physical and mental health all-around.

Meditations will be three times a week to start and then if there is enough interest, we may expand this to more meetings. The style of meditation may change but this will be an interactive group so input if valuable and appreciated! The group will be mindfulness centered, but we can also explore other styles depending on the feedback from the group.

Lastly, if anyone has experience with meditation and would like to volunteer to lead sessions, please message me or speak to me in person. Hope to see you soon!
