Saddle Peak Rock Climbing Meetup
Saturday, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
We’re heading out to Saddle Peak for a solid morning of climbing—good rock, great views, and a chance to get some quality routes in before it gets too hot.
Plan is simple: park along the road, then hike up the Saddle Peak Trail or Backbone Trail (both leads to the to the slab). It’s a short approach, but keep an eye out—this area can have snakes, especially as it warms up.
This isn’t a beginner meetup. Please only join if you’re already comfortable with outdoor climbing and handling your own safety (belaying, knots, anchor basics, etc.). It keeps things smooth and safe for everyone.
Bring what you’d normally need: water, sunscreen, shoes, harness, and any personal gear. Helmet is recommended. When you RSVP, list out what gear you’re bringing—especially ropes and shared gear—so we can coordinate properly.
We’ll climb, rotate, hang out a bit, and wrap up around noon.
