This group is led by a Certified Yoga and Meditation teacher who has suffered from chronic pain for almost 40 years and is still on this journey. Together we will share our unique paths and offer each other support, hope and compassion.

This is an online peer led group of individuals who struggle with various types of chronic pain and illness. Come with an open mind to share what has or has not worked in your recovery. Honesty, personal integrity and respect for each of our unique perspectives and experiences is essential.

This is not a group that will offer you a quick fix or cure, but a space to hear other people's stories with self compassion and unconditional love, non-judgment and radical acceptance.

There is power and healing in a peer community where we can remove ourselves from professional networks that can feel cold and alienating. Such as we experience in clinical settings and the associated insurance copays that I know too well.

If people are interested I could lead some gentle movements, breathing practices and a guided meditation after the 1 hour group meeting. It is important for everyone to be able to share their thoughts and experiences and tips first.

In this group we will experience the parts of ourselves that have been untouched by pain. I believe healing from pain is more achievable when we come together. That why I created this group.

Members of the group can choose and organize other times and events to meet in person. This group does not offer medical advice or treatments. It is purely experiential and peer supportive from those with lived experience.

Please feel free to donate a few dollars to help me pay for this group.
