Sunday 4 Mile Hike at JMF

Snow Hike...
We hiked this last week and it is more challenging than normal but beautiful. Hiking poles and/or snow cleats make the downhill sections much easier.

Do not use the map dot. Meet at the JMF Welcome Center on Mitchell Hill Rd.

This scenic hike through the woods happens every Sunday. It is a 4-mile moderately paced hike (easy if you are used to hills. Strenuous if you are not) with several stops along the way. One-stop includes views from the scenic Jefferson Memorial Forest Conference Center outlook deck where you will see much of Jefferson County and Southern Indiana. It's a great way to enjoy nature, like-minded people, and a little exercise along the way.

There are two large hills.

Well behaved pets are welcome.
