First hike of Spring! The Royal National Park... It’s been a while for our group, so let’s get back into it with a fuckin’ delightful, moderately challenging hike in the 2nd oldest National Park in the world! And if you’ve never been to The RNPark… well, this is THE perfect intro session to tempt the taste buds. Then? You’ll want more. Believe it.

THE HIKE.
The Bundeena Ferry. It’s the oldest ferry in Sydney (+85yrs), and you’re gonna love this “Little Engine that Could” (my favourite book that Mom used to read to me) experience to start off the day to our hike start...
Little Jibbon Beach. Wow. A stunning beach stroll surrounded by National Park.
Jibbon Head & The Royal National Park Coastal Hike. It starts here… perfect views. Whales. Beautiful coastline in the 2nd oldest National Park in the world.
Wedding Cake Rock. You’ve seen the photos. Now see it in person. It’s pretty damn cool.
Marley Beach & Little Marley Beach. Two loooooovely beaches. We’ll stop at Little Marley for views, snacks, and a rest before turning around.
Bundeena is a gorgeous little town… Quiet. Artsy. It’s a one of a kind place in Sydney.

The distance… 10.30kilometres from Bundeena to Little Marley Beach, and it’s 6.75 kilometres (smaller map pic) back as we take a shortcut up the ass-end of Bundeena to get to the beers / food more quickly!

Timing... we meet at 915am at the Cronulla Ferry Wharf (5min walk from train station). It's easy to find.

THE FOOD & DRINK.
Cronulla is such a cool little town… let’s find something there (no stress if you head back early on the train). Cronulla RSL Club has beautiful ocean views, and the town’s Corso has endless Thai, pizza, burritos, etc… It’s Sunday, so we won’t get as loose as we normally do, but let’s “cheers” with a nice meal / beer, wine because that’s what we do!

If you're thinking "Wow, that's a journey" please stop because it’s 110% worth it. I loooooove this National Park and Coastal Hike.
See you for a beauty. MJ

If you hit the "Attend" button, the next step is to join our whatsapp group HERE.

THE FINER PRINT.
Cancels / No shows. Treat your RSVP like a restaurant reservation. No show / cancel on the day? That restaurant is my hiking group – you won’t be welcomed in the future. Respect and manners matter.
Safety. Let’s chat, let’s have some laughs… but let’s be safe. Let’s concentrate and enjoy Mother Nature – The RNPark deserves our attention.
Cost. $10 PayID or Cash. Please note Bundeena Ferry is extra / not part of the Opal card network.
Transport. I’ll be on the train to Cronulla. Drivers? Cronulla has free parking, but DIY research. Another option is free parking at Sutherland (when you use your Opal card), then a 15min train ride to Cronulla Station.
BYO… Pack your backpack properly. National Park hikes are real hikes. Water. One bathroom stop when we arrive in Bundeena. Extra socks. Hand towel. BandAids. Food.
Fitness. Yup. Fitness matters for this one. Real hiking.
