2026 VIVID WALK & PUB MEAL!

VIVID is back! Let's do it on a Tuesday - one of the least crowded days of the week... and we'll finish at a lush pub in Woolloomoolloo for a cheapie pub feed.

THE HIKE.
Let's meet at Wynyard Station. I'll post a pin in Google Maps on the day so you can find me... see Wynyard Park? I'll be exactly at that point in the grass at 550pm between Erskine St and Carrington Street. From 515pm I'll be having a beer close by, so feel free to join me if you're early.

555pm we chat. 6pm we hike! Well, we walk. Down Erskine St towards King St wharf, and we'll do an ~8kms Harbour walk around Barangaroo, Walsh Bay, under Sydney Harbour Bridge with perfect views of Sydney Opera House for pics... then past MCA, Customs House, Sydney Opera House, then we'll do a loop in the Royal Botanic Gardens... finishing at Woolly Bay Hotel. This is a greeeeeeat pub with:
~ Steak, chips & salad $25;
~ Fish & chips $20; and
~ Schnitty, chips & salad $20.

The 311 bus can get you to King's Cross or head the other way to Town Hall. Also, if the 311 is passing by, we can choose a different pub in King's X as well. I'm open and easy.

So we get to the pub on time, I'll move at just under 4kms per hour - it's up to you to keep up. I'll post my location in live Google Maps, and all hikers must join our WHATSAPP GROUP HERE (please note, I'll keep this whatsapp for the week after hike(s), so exit it / silence it is my advice once you complete your hike - or use it to see other hikers' cool pics). 4kms per hour is pretty slow so we can take pics, chat, laugh, and feel free to bring a roadie drrink if you fancy... Again, it's up to you to keep the pace and not get lost.
