Hiking Dajian Mountain & Xiufeng Waterfall – Views of Greater Taipei

Hi everyone! We’re going hiking together to Dajian Mountain and Xiufeng Waterfall in Xizhi, New Taipei City.

🔴Feature
It’s a popular and beautiful mountain, about 410 meters high. From the top, you can see Taipei 101, the Tamsui River, and a large part of Taipei City. There is a big rock on the summit where we can stand and take photos, and the mountain views around are really amazing.
On the way, we will also visit Xiufeng Waterfall(秀峰瀑布). It’s small but very peaceful, hidden in the forest, and a great place to relax and enjoy the green nature.

🔴Hiking Route
Walk 20 minutes from Xizhi Train Station
↓
Arrive at Xiude Temple
↓
Start hiking to Xiufeng Waterfall (about 350 m high)
↓
Reach Dajians mountain (about 410 m high)
↓
Return the same way

●Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a light jacket, as it can be windy or cool on the mountain.
●Bring enough drinking water and some snacks.
●This is a relaxed and friendly hike. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to join us and enjoy a nice afternoon in nature together~
