Sierra Peak - up Fresno Canyon, down Coal Canyon (Level 3 Strenuous)

This trail is challenging due to its steepness (60% on some sections) and numerous "false" peaks (very similar to Skinsuit).
Sierra Peak will offer a view encompassing the ocean, LA downtown and all the tall peaks around (Mt. Baldy, San Gorgonio, San Jacinto).
For the return loop, we will use Coal Canyon Trail (fire road) all the way back to the starting point and shuttle back to Fresno Canyon to pick up our cars.
Distance - 12-13 miles
Elevation - 2,700 ft

Bring extra water, sunscreen, hat. Hiking poles are highly recommended.
For parking, we will park at the Santa Ana River Bike Trail and shuttle to Fresno Canyon Trailhead 5 min away.
