Description: Sierra Peak is a 3050 ft. mountain located between Yorba Linda and Corona just south of the 91 Frwy. We will be hiking to the towers at the Peak. On a clear day, from the summit, all four counties are visible from the Pacific ocean to the inland deserts.

The hike begins from the parking and walking along the Santa Ana river trail. Hiking up pipeline and hiking down via the Coal Canyon. Pipeline is a very steep trail, after summit back down to the trailhead is a fire road in pretty good condition, but it can get warm, there isn't any shade so hats and sunscreen are recommended. We will stop at Picnic Rock "aka Mini Moab" for lunch (or snack if we want to plan a lunch after the hike). We usually spend about 20-30 minutes having lunch at picnic rock before heading back down the fire road. Plan to finish the hike between 2:30 and 3:30pm.
