Walking tour from Springfield park to Markfield beam museum (Free entry)

Slow leisurely walk. All ages and abilities welcome.

We will learn some little known history about the area and make our way to the museum.

A retired history teacher has volunteered to give a talk on some local aspects of the area as we walk

The museum shows the power of water driven engines.

Social at a pub after.

Arrive 11.50am for a 12pm start (museum closes 3.30pm).
Meet at entrance to Springfield park by the pond. We will be sitting on the first bench in the front area of the ducks/pond.
