Extended Weekend Trip to Schweitzer, ID

It's “The Powder & Potatoes Trip”! Located 45 miles south of the Canadian border, Schweitzer is the Pacific Northwest’s best kept secret. Situated in Northern Idaho within the Rocky Mountains, Schweitzer has a summit elevation of 6,400’ and a vertical drop of 2,440’.

The mountain has 92 trails (20% green, 40% blue, and 40% black diamond and double diamond), plus open bowls and backcountry (+ Cat skiing). · Round-trip airfare from Newark to Spokane with a transfer on United Airlines (updated 10/13/25 see below)

· 4-night stay at the Humbird Hotel (ski in/ski out); double occupancy
