Welcome to the Great North Property Management – Rhode Island HOA Education, Networking & Leadership Group!
This Meetup group is designed specifically for current and new Homeowners Association (HOA) board members, condominium trustees, and community volunteers across Rhode Island who want to learn, grow, and lead their communities more effectively.
Our mission is to provide education, guidance, and real-world insight into how successful associations operate. Through workshops, open discussions, and collaborative networking events, members will gain a deeper understanding of topics such as governance, budgeting, reserves, insurance, maintenance planning, compliance, and long-term community success.
This group also creates a space for board members from different associations to connect, share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Whether you are newly elected to your board, considering volunteering, or an experienced trustee looking to stay informed and connected, this group offers valuable resources, support, and professional insight.

This one-hour session will begin with a 30-minute overview covering key fundamentals such as HOA fees, reserves, governing documents (CCRs), budgeting, and how associations function. The remaining 30 minutes will be open for discussion, questions, and shared experiences, either as a full group or in smaller conversations depending on attendance.
Whether you are exploring condo ownership, currently live in an association, or simply want to better understand how these communities work, this session will provide practical insights and real-world guidance.
