Scientific evidence has been well established on how a persistently activated sympathetic system can lead to Allostatic Load, affecting our cardiovascular, immune, metabolic, and psychological well-being. Modern men and women’s sympathetic nerves can be easily hyperactivated — we live in a time with constant stimulation: news headlines, screens, short videos, and the seemingly endless demand to stay alert.
In this one-day workshop, following a short evidence-based talk, we will engage in three effective and powerful meditations to rest and restore deeply. You will learn how to release what no longer serves you, rebalance your sympathetic and parasympathetic systems, enabling a more balanced body, mind and soul.
The three guided meditations are:
• Release and Recharge — With Jungian symbolic work
• A traditional Taoist meditation focusing on our Dantian systems (Chinese energy centers of the body), and
• A Tibetan Buddhism meditation to bring our heart back into place and release with the universe
Meditators of all levels are welcome.
This program is especially powerful for people who have been working hard and in need of some deep release, rest and recharge.
