The Montaigne essay was translated by M. A. Screech and published by Penguin in 1993 as part of
The Complete Essays by Michel de Montaigne.

The Cicero translation was by W. A. Falconer in CICERO, On Old Age. On Friendship. On Divination (1923) as part of the Loeb Classical Library.
