About us
We are Oahu’s oldest recreational kayak club. Come paddle with us and enjoy the ocean and streams of Oahu. We offer paddles of varying skill levels from beginner to advanced all around the island. If you go on all the club paddles you will circumnavigate Oahu!
To see our full paddle schedule and to learn more about our club go to our website.
We do not provide kayaks or paddling gear for our paddles. You'll need to bring your own kayak or rent one. Renters who are willing to paddle a tandem and are looking for a partner to share the cost can mention that in the event comments. If you own a tandem and have an empty seat that you'd like to fill you can make an invitation in the event comments too.
Ocean conditions can change suddenly. You are responsible for your own safety and you need to be prepared. You should bring a properly fitted personal flotation device (PFD), a cell phone in a waterproof case, a safety whistle and water to keep you hydrated.
Participation in this Meetup group does not make you a club member. Club membership is not required for our events, but if you come to a few of them we strongly encourage you to become a paid member at $30/year. Download our membership form and pay online to join.

Easter Meet & Greet
Kualoa Regional Park, 49-479 Kamehameha Highway, Kahaluu, HI, USWe have a full day of kayaking activities for prospective members and their families. The activities begin at 9:00 am with an “Introduction to Kayaking” clinic that will teach paddling strokes, proper PFD fitting, basic safety and on-the-water capsize recovery. At 11:30 we’ll have our traditional kayak Easter egg hunt on the bay. Bring your kids (or borrow some) and create a memory they’ll never forget! If you bring kids make sure that each one has a properly sized PFD. (Walmart carries affordable children’s PFDs.)
After the eggs are gathered we’ll enjoy a sumptuous potluck lunch. Please bring a dish to share and your camp chair. We will have a jug of ice water. If you want anything else to drink bring that too. As we digest our feast we’ll give out egg hunt prizes.
A limited number of loaner kayaks are available for this event. Please read and agree to follow our loaner kayak etiquette before asking to borrow a kayak. Contact the event organizer by Thursday, 3/26, if you want to borrow one.
