This group offers a dedicated time to nurture ourselves and honor our creative spirits while meeting new friends once a month. There's no cost.
BRING YOUR PROJECT, including whatever tools or materials you need for your quilting, scrap booking, painting, beadwork, sewing, knitting, stained glass, drawing, ceramics, basket weaving, needlepoint, whittling, wood burning, rock painting, mosaic, paper-craft, or any other fanciful project
(The picture used for this event is only a sample -- bring any portable project you want to work on.)
"RULES:"
- No work, no younguns, no commitments or obligations, no stress!
- All who are kind and respectful are welcome
- There's no obligation to attend every time
NOTES:
- If you can't get there right at 6PM, no worries. There's no such thing as being late -- come when you can
- I don't get notices when away from my computer and so won't reliably get day-of MeetUp msgs.
- If you need any clean up supplies for your craftwork, bring 'em with you; we aim to leave the space in pristine condition
MONTHLY SCHEDULE:
As Jan. 2026, we meet on 4th Weds., with the exception of Nov. and Dec., and other scheduling changes if and as noted.
HISTORY & VENUE:
- This group formed in early 2024 and gathered at restaurants in / near Oregon City until Jan. 2025 when we started to meet in a member's home, potluck style
- The address is NOT posted here
Address / directions / host's # sent via MeetUp 1-2 days prior to each event for all who've RSVP'd
- Watch for it in your personal email inbox (whatever email you have on file with MeetUp)
- If you've told MeetUp you don't want to get msgs. from this group, you won't receive it. PROACTIVELY CHECK YOUR MEETUP SETTINGS FOR THIS GROUP & LOOK IN YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL SPAM FOLDER, ETC. Again, the address will not be posted on MeetUp and I may not get event-day messages.
POTLUCK:
Our host offers coffee, tea, and water, and a wonderful, hot dish each month (a vegan chili or vegetable stew, etc.).
IF YOU CAN, BRING SOMETHING TO SHARE:
- a drink or side dish, snack or dessert
look at RSVPs here on MeetUp a couple days prior, less a few no-shows to gauge quantity
- no meat please
our host, as well as some of our regular members, are vegetarian or vegan; side dishes or condiments that contain egg or dairy are fine
- ingredient lists
help everyone navigate their own food choices with a simple note
I'm so looking forward to this and am excited to meet / see you!
