WHAT WE WILL DO:
Climb and descend five mountains – Little Windbeam, Windbeam, Bear, Board, and Harrison – while enjoying views of the Wanaque and Monksville Reservoirs.
Total Distance: 10.6 miles
Total Elevation Gain: 3,000 ft
Pace 2-2.5 mph

- Not a beginner hike *
This is YOUR hike - Know your way in and out. Know the route. Know the bail out spots. Know if you might need the bail out spots and plan accordingly. If you come on this hike, it will be expected that you know what route we're taking and will be able to follow that route on your own.
Only experienced, self-reliant hikers in strong physical condition should go on this hike.
There will NOT be a sweep on this hike.

SPECIAL GEAR REQUIREMENTS:
winter hiking footwear; Winter Layers of non-cotton wicking clothing; gloves. hat, hand warmers. Enough food/water for the hike (if you don't know how much food and water you'll need for a hike like this, you should not be on it); first aid, insulating layers; rain repellent layer (just in case); WORKING HEADLAMP WITH EXTRA BATTERIES just in case you finish after sunset.
NOTE: You are responsible for bringing appropriate gear, supplies, clothing, first aid, and lights. You should review topographic maps and trail features carefully; understanding topography of any hike is key to your knowing where you are, where you're going, and how to get back.
