CIWC Outdoor Adventures Day

From fellow Indianapolis-area Meet Up CIWC comes their annual funfest:
The Central Indiana Wilderness Club will present a FREE Outdoor Adventures Class to help you get started with your backpacking, paddling, and biking adventures. This event is open to the public, on Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Holliday Park Nature Center.

A great park to hike and sight-see, and on this day, a good opportunity to gain exposure to other modes of outdoor adventure, and indeed, other outdoor adventurers! CIWC was organized in 1982, and is undergoing a good bit of renovation at the moment, so if you wished for an opportunity to volunteer, I would certainly put CIWC on a list with Hoosier Hikers Council and the Knobstone Trail Hiking Association.
