This group is for young professionals who want to take advantage of the best the Indianapolis area has to offer. Meet new friends, socialize, and get to know the area! We seek to explore the many opportunities the area has to offer: happy hours, trivia nights, game nights, dinners, nights out on the town, dance clubs, hiking, biking, and much more! Feel free to suggest activities you are interested in!

I’ve had a few members ask me about a GroupMe or Discord server for the group- now they both exist!
Away from the Meetup app and serving as an extension of the Indy Young Professionals (IYP) group, you can now log into Discord and GroupMe through these links:

> In the Discord server, you can view announcements for any upcoming events or updates to the group, message/voice and video chat with other members from the whole group (or members you met at one of the Meetups), pitch ideas for future events, and throw out informal plans to meet with members outside of scheduled events.There are also channels for movie/game nights that will be utilized in the future!

Whether you excel in event planning, have a flair for engaging activities, or simply enjoy connecting people, we’d love to have you on board!
As a host, you'll shape our group’s activities, ranging from casual meetups to themed events and everything in between. You'll play a key role in building a welcoming and energetic community where members can make new friends and share common interests.
We’re open to a variety of hosting styles. You don’t need to be the life of the party—just show up, be open-minded, and serve as the point of contact for our group. We’re not exclusive or selective- we are happy to have any range of host personalities and availabilities! 😁
Examples of Event Ideas:
- 🌆Officially Curated Events: Farmers' markets, art & music festivals, sports games, concerts, Christkindlmart, Ice skating, day trips, escape rooms, paintball
- 🪩Party Animals: Bar crawls, clubbing, Oktoberfest, mixers, themed parties
- 🍹Foodie Experiences: Wine/beer tastings, brunch/dinner at restaurants or rooftops, Wine & Canvas, cooking classes, local coffee shop explorations
- 🌳Outdoors & Active: Hiking, kayaking/canoeing, swimming, dance/yoga classes, pickleball, rock climbing, horseback riding
- 📽️Games & Movies: Board/card game nights, movie theater outings, arcade bars, laser tag, video game tournaments, movie marathons on Discord
These are just a few ideas—imagine the possibilities with multiple perspectives and creative minds involved!
