Most of us have been socially conditioned to not disappoint someone, to be kind, considerate, etc. Yet, we can often feel trapped, stuck and uncomfortable.-, unable to say "No"
Not only do we feel uncomfortable, but many people find themselves trapped where even if they want to say "no" to someone, if they have always said "yes" the other person can react with anger or even hostility. So some people will agree to doing things that they are clear they don't want to do, but feel that they can't upset or anger the other person.
Often these trapped people find themselves with no time or energy to take care of their own needs and wants!
Healthy Boundaries are often not taught to us growing up. In this session we will cover
How to:
- say "no thanks" gracefully
- avoid people arguing when we say "no"
- let go of guilt in disappointing someone
- carve out time for our own needs
