## Discussion Themes:
-
So many factors contribute to our happiness and general state of mind but given the fickleness of the external world, inner happiness is our only reliable source for a steady path through life. Learn more in the discussion:
-
Path to Self-Knowledge: "When it comes to knowledge of Self, we are trying to know That which illumines and experiences objects ... that awareness, which is enlivening the mind itself."
-
Body Consciousless: When we're healthy, there is little awareness of the body. This is compounded in the dream state, where we break free of bodily limitations. When death approaches, it's not the loss of the body we fear; it's the loss of awareness.
-
Path to the Heart: We are not limited to the mind and intellect. The heart, the seat of our deepest feelings, is a portal to our soul.
-
Who Am I?: The midlife crisis arises to challenge many, popping up just when we're establishing ourselves in a career, home, and a place in society. Doubts assail us as we reassess our lives. Vedanta encourages us to go deeper, to ask who we are in the deepest sense.
Teachings.
