Study of Chapter 15, Verses 11 - 14:

The Way to the Supreme Spirit

Discussion Themes:

  • IN SEARCH OF TRUTH: The ancient yogis were seekers of Truth, ultimate Truths. That search gave rise to fundamental questions: ‘Who Am I?’ ‘Is there something Eternal beyond this ever-changing world, is there something Eternal in me?’ ‘From where have we come, to where are we going?’
Scientists also seek Truth. They are ‘in search of the truths of material nature.’ They also seek answers to fundamental questions about ‘life, the Universe and everything’.
  • **DIVINE LIGHT: ‘**The Light which lighteth every soul that cometh into the world is the light of the Divine. From the infinite Consciousness which I am, these lights have radiated to illumine all objects’.
  • A SACRED ACT: The preparation and consumption of food are forms of artistic expression, of refined culture, and opportunities to communicate and bond with family and friends, and eating can and should be a sacred act.

We're a multicultural group of varying ages, including our Vedanta Society members and friends. We always welcome new faces and hear new perspectives.
