Chinese Potluck Dinner (Option D)
Details
This is a Chinese food potluck that will arrive with the energy of a dragon parade and zero intention of using its inside voice. Noodles flail. Sauces advance across the table like a slow-moving but delicious lava flow.
How This Works (The Important Part)
To keep the magic (and the sanity), we have a few simple guidelines:
Make a Firm Commitment to Come
Please only RSVP if you fully intend to come. Every spot matters, and the menu depends on you. If you bail casually, somewhere a dumpling loses its filling.
Bring a handmade dish
Make one Chinese-inspired dish yourself - dumplings, noodles, stir-fries, braises, cold dishes, snacks - whatever excites you, as long as it’s made by human hands (yours).
Bring your own beverage & serving utensil
If your dish needs to be scooped, tonged, ladled, or otherwise wrangled, bring the tool it requires.
Post your dish in the comment section
After you RSVP, add a comment with what you plan to bring. This helps us avoid an army of identical dumplings or a table that is 80% orange chicken.
If you need to cancel, give us three days’ notice
Life happens, woks wobble, plans change. If you must cancel, please do so at least three days before the event so someone else can jump in.
RSVP, claim your spot, pick your dish, and step bravely into the noodle vortex.
