What we’re about
We are a Charlotte-area Jewish group focusing on those 50+ years old, who want to socialize, form friendships, and participate in organized activities. Essentially, hang out with their peeps in entertaining, educational, and engaging ways. We aim to provide social opportunities beyond those offered by the local temples. All those with a Jewish identity, regardless of beliefs or affiliations, are welcome.
The group will plan a minimum of one meetup a month. These may include: social events such as lunches or dinners at restaurants, casual meetups, parties, dances, festivals... recreational activites like walks, hikes, kayaking, biking, bowling, and sporting events...and cultural activities like gallery crawls, concerts, local attractions, museums, lectures, comedy shows, films, and theater. We also will likely plan events celebrating the major Jewish holidays.
We invite you to come shmooze with your brethren and sistren; make new friends; offer your ideas; and help us grow into a happy "home" away from home.
